How Univoc works for employers

You post the role; we vet and shortlist candidates.

You post the role through our ops team or the partner portal. The Univoc team shortlists from a pre-vetted pool of skilled workers, you interview the final candidates, and you select who you want. We do the filtering before you spend any interview time.

Workers go on Univoc payroll, not yours.

The workers we place are employees of Univoc for compliance, payroll, EPF/ESI, statutory deductions, attendance, and grievance handling. You sign a single service agreement — you don't run payroll for them, you don't handle PF accounts, and you don't manage exits.

You're billed monthly per placed worker, plus a margin. That's the whole commercial relationship.

Stipends paid on time, every month.

Workers are paid by the Nth of every month from Univoc's account, regardless of your internal payment cycle. That predictability is how retention stays high — workers know exactly when money arrives, so they stay on the job.

Why employers choose Univoc

Pre-vetted talent pool.

We do the ITI verification, trade testing, and reference checks before you ever see a candidate. Your interview time is spent on fit, not on filtering out unqualified applicants.

End-to-end compliance handled.

Statutory contributions, monthly returns, attendance reporting, and scheme paperwork — NAPS, NATS, and PMKVY where applicable — are handled on our side. Your HR team doesn't carry these workers' compliance burden.

One bill per month, one point of contact.

You don't manage twenty individual workers' payroll, PF accounts, or exits. We invoice you once a month and handle worker queries ourselves. You deal with one relationship, not a roster.

Who we place

ITI-certified welders, fitters, electricians, machinists, and CNC operators; diploma-holding technicians; semi-skilled assembly and warehouse workers; and drivers (LMV and HMV). Across apprentice, OJT trainee, and direct employee engagement models — whichever fits the role and the scheme.

Most placements today are across Maharashtra — Pune, Chakan, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Hinjawadi, Ranjangaon, and Mumbai. We're expanding to other industrial clusters. If your site is outside this belt, tell us; we'll be honest about timelines.

What it costs

Pricing is per worker placed. You pay the stipend plus a service margin that covers vetting, payroll, compliance, and ongoing support. Margins vary by trade, volume, and engagement model — apprenticeship and OJT engagements are typically cheaper for you than direct employee placement, because the schemes share the cost.

We'll share a written quote within one business day of your enquiry. No call required to get a number.

Common questions

Are the workers on our payroll or yours?

Ours. The workers we place are employees of Univoc — we hold the payroll, the PF and ESI accounts, and the statutory liability. You sign one service agreement and are billed monthly.

How quickly can you fill a role?

It depends on the trade and the location. ITI welders in the Pune corridor are typically 2–3 weeks. Niche trades or remote sites take longer. We commit to a timeline as part of the quote, rather than promising a number we can't hold.

What if a worker doesn't perform?

We handle the exit and replace the worker. The replacement timeline and the warranty period are written into the service agreement, so you know the terms before you start.

Do you support apprenticeship schemes?

Yes — NAPS, NATS, and PMKVY, where the role and the candidate qualify. The scheme paperwork and returns are handled on our side.

How are stipends paid?

By the Nth of every month from Univoc's account, directly into each worker's bank account. No cash, and no payments handed out by the employer.

Can we trial with a small number of placements first?

Yes. Pilots of 5–10 workers are common, and many of our employers start there before scaling up.
